Equinox crossbow
m*pete said: I just bought a new equinox crossbow and would like to know if anyone uses lighted nocks on excalibur bolts or did you have to purchase diffrent bolts? I used carbon express lazer eyes on my bow and they worked great. Also what broadheads does everyone use? excalibur bolt cutters or something like a rage, I have used slick trick fixed blades on my bow and never had a problem, any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks

As for broadheads have heard good things about the boltcutters, as well as the slick tricks. However, I shoot g-5 strikers out of my vortex and it seems to love them. I have been tempted to try the g-5 t3 they have a new version for crossbows that have heavier clips to hold the blades, but I can't argue with success from the strikers

m*pete said: I was kinda thinking the same way I am pretty sure you have to keep the OVERALL weight at least 350 grains total. I would love to shoot my 100 grain slick tricks out of this crossbow, guess I'll have to weigh the complete arrow. Anyone shoot 100 grain broadheads on excalibur bolts??
dlb*ldwin01 said: My strikers are 125gr but I know that Excalibur has a 100gr mechanical head that they reccommend on their website. So long as your arrow weight is good and the FOC is still 10% or more you should be good with 100gr heads.
